Eleanor Raine found her love of storytelling early on the stage in school plays, writing novels, and at home creating videos with friends. After years of work as a film PA, freelance artist, and a local theater actor, she attended Portland Community College to study film production, honing her lifelong passion for screenwriting and directing.

As a director, she believes in the power of collaboration, determination, and kindness and brings those values to every set.

She specializes in fantasy and science fiction, using a fantastical lens to explore grounded human complexity.

Eleanor lives in Portland, OR with her partner and two cats. She spends her free time hiking, swing dancing, and playing video games.
